Succesful Camp

I managed to experience the first ever camp that was held in school ( I'm serious, no joke )

I volunteered to help out because I CAMP. Furthermore, the committee was kind enough to let me help out :)

The weather was burning, not to mention extremely humid too during the afternoon. What's worse is that we ourselves can't enjoy the chilly breeze of the air conditioner in the library because it's locked.

We had our Mini Explorace to start off with. Some games were really challenging especially the part where you have to make an paper plane fly into the bucket. There were different type of designs of the plane, some even used their hair bands to tie the tip of the plane.

Time went by very quick and before you know it it's evening time. During the Creativity session, participants were given a few pieces of cardboard and one roll of masking tape to build a ship.

While they were building, we facilitators were chilling in the library.

Wan Yee took my phone and well, basically you can what she did with it. I still have bunch of those kind of photos in my phone.

Group 7 and their boat, I sort of missed a lot of the presentations since I was taking my sweet time freshening up :X Big mistake.

While the participants were watching the horror film we were preparing for our next activity.

I'd say it was fantastic, everyone's reaction was so priceless when they were jumped . Everything ended at 3 but most fascilitators did not get any sleep.

Just lying down on the floor, looking at the pathetic Malaysian sky with one miserable star shining. Believe it or not, it's the first star I've seen in years.

Some slept for 20 minutes and suffered later on. You know how you feel when you wake up when you only had less than an hour of sleep? Like crap? Yeah, that's how we all felt.

Day 2

We woke everyone up at 6:30a.m and had everyone gathered up while Denise lightens up the mood.

Breakfast was really light and easy. Two sausages and an egg is enough to pull you throughout the camp :D

The name of the game was Pirate Treasure Hunt. We took out every one's 'ship' and all of the groups have to walk in them to reach the desired stations. So basically, at everyone station you're given a map to find the treasure.

It was so hilarious seeing them walk in that thing. Well try to imagine people walking when they can barely lift their foot from the ground :D

Team 6

Team 2

Team 8 does she want to punch me :(

We had games that were just made up one hour before the pirate themed activities started and it was a huge success.

They all worked so hard only to find out that the treasure was stolen...

Me, Hao Ran and De waiting for people to come over

After this camp, I realise that it is not easy to organize one, I've always had the impression that it would be easy, but it's not. If 2 days 1 night was quite a big job, I wouldn't want to imagine what a week of camp would be.

I can't say how happy I am to be part of it, I got to know more people, and find out things about my buddies that I've never known of, and most important of all, having fun.

I really hope there will be more opportunities to join these kind of activities. This will be another page in my high school memories <3

Michael Jackson, loss of a legend

I grew up listening to Bee Gees, Elvis and maybe a little bit of Teresa Teng.

But I can never forget how much I love listening to Michael Jackson, dancing to his songs although I don't know what I'm doing, mumbling and humming his songs just for the fun of it.

Jackson died at UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in the posh Los Angeles neighborhood of Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to revive him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.

Michael Jackson was one of the best entertainers I knew as I grow up. He inspired so many people to dance.

His music was his passion, what he wrote and expressed through it is just too amazing. He can be entertaining and yet give out very deep messages as well. What's more to say? It's a great loss to see such a great person to die at a young age.

Even the people from different walks of life became impersonators. Some were good, some were.....not too good.

There's not much to say because this happened too sudden, I feel completely devastated after knowing of his death. Furthermore, that great and awaited comeback of the King of Pop is not going to happen in London now. I've always wanted to watch him live.

I wish Malaysians would mourn for him as well, I would gladly be a part of it. After all he has been through, the accusations, the complications, he definitely deserves a rest.

So rest in peace, Michael Jackson.

Never change

Here's to all the people that got their hearts broken and hopes shattered for the first time.

I just listened to what my friend had to say. Just can't help but feel the same, because I could never cope with the sadness considering it was my first that time too. What the person did, was rather unfair, to treat other's like a play toy.

Let's just skip that, so depressing :X

Hui Lyn is coming back, like finally. I'm going to ask her to quarantine herself xD * don't kill me *Don't want to get ah hee nee also.

Speaking of hee nee, H1N1. My dad doesn't allow me to go Sunway or the cinemas or whatsoever.

Speaking of hee nee, everyone's wearing a flu mask now. Even my classmates, no jokes, I had a slight flu, and they started avoiding and alienating me like I'm some hee nee patient.

Anyway, do you know that in Japan, wearing flu masks is actually part of their trend? I just knew that O.o Partly because I watched anime and well, I find it quite cool.

The japanese might think " Hey its another one of us "

But in Malaysia we'd go WTF DAMN ***** MAN THAT GUY

Prefect Reunion Night

I love fruits, nothing beats eating fruits when the weather is hot. And my current favorite fruit No.2 is from South East Asia - Mangosteen.

It seems so unknown to others and they actually open their eyes as if they saw UFO's or something, seriously.

I'm already 17, and I don't have the money to retain my youth unlike some people that splurges on Mangosteen Juice.

I practically stoned until 6.15 in the evening and got ready for the Reunion at Holiday Villa.

To my surprise, it was the exact same place I had my 2 Pentium gathering. Boy, I miss them, we have all of them scattered around the place now. Ben in Aussie, Maxon in Pahang. What else? And maybe even the old clique I used to hang with, just don't click anymore :(

I was so busy enjoying myself until it didn't occur to me that I need some photos for memories. But luckily, there are some with my friends.

Crowd was alright, the seniors really have a sense of humor, pretty lame but funny at the same time. We had our own disco sticks * grin * Who wants a ride?!

Hannah Yeoh was also there that night, how about that? Without her there wouldn't be a Reunion Night. I really didn't expect that, but oh well.

Father's day was rather rushy, had Vietnamese Food at Damansara Uptown with the whole bunch.

This wall deco caught my eyes. The food, you have to try it for yourself. It looks ordinary but when you take a bite. That millions of flavors that your taste bud experiences. It's priceless.

And for those fat-haters, Vietnamese food is definitely for you <3

Julian Smith - Saxophonist

It's been a long and hectic week, everything revolves around school this time.

Here are a few highlights of what's been taking place this week :

Our school became the first school in town to establish a Student Council. This time, I bet it's going to be a blast because we have amazing personalities leading the board. Furthermore, it's a surprise that the Head of Student Affairs would entertain our request to establish it.

There's an upcoming camp that we're going to organize next week.

Date : 25th of June, Friday
Venue : School compound
Fees : RM15.00

It's considerably cheap so if anyone is interested please do so and join alright? Oh not to mention this is for our school students only - USJ 12.

Click here to listen to his work of art

I think many of you have heard him play the saxophone before. All these while, I've been indulging myself in the songs played by the Kenny G. After I heard Julian play, oh wow I thought he has the same playing style as Kenny G. In fact, I think he's better.

You can see the passion he has for his music as he plays, sinking in the sweet melodies coming out from the saxophone. If he ever comes out with an album, I'll probably be the first in Malaysia to get it, that is IF I can do it :D

Back to school

I just took my L license course. Weather is still hot as hell. What's worse is that my skin is acting up in response to the hot weather. Red patches around my nose as though I've just cried.

Moreover my tongue hurts because I bit it last Friday after visiting a certain store. Right now I can't even talk. It feels like ' masuk angin ' ( something leaking out from my mouth ). It irritates me cause it's impossible to pronounce anything properly without feeling the pain.

One day before my school reopens, I took some time off my work and decided to watch this. And wow, I'm astounded. This movie is so touching. What a man would do for his loved one. Being sacrificial and so caring, I think that's what all women wants.

There was a book written before the movie was out. That book is not too bad to read too. Furthermore, it's based on the memories of a certain someone who passed away 4 years ago. But needless to say that the story and how everything was planned was fantastic.

And what came to my surprise is, as I was still commenting about how well the movie was done, my eyes was filled with tears. Hah, I'd never expected to have tears after watching a movie. How great can it get!?

Not to mention the sceneries in the movie are fantastic, Ireland seems like a green area. Speaking of sceneries, I can't help but to express my interest towards photography, especially something about landscape.

This conversation took place some time ago..

Mom Me

Hao, why don't you take more photos during holidays? We been to so many nice places. Yet no photos
Our camera sucks
But you like taking photo right, why don't you get the big black one, that DSLR.

By the time she said that, I had all sort of imaginations of me going across the country running here and there taking photos. Hmmmm, maybe not running but yeah basically capturing the moment. After all, a picture would last longer right?

I came to realise I really love this when I paid a visit to a beautiful beach in Phuket, Thailand. I was on a holiday then, in Club Med. It was evening time and I witnessed the most beautiful sunset ever.

Beach of Kata Bay

This was taken with my one and only N73 camera phone.

I just love when it comes out nice, actually, who doesn't? Then I thought, I can get better quality of shots with a better camera. Question is whether my dad would be willing to fork out the money to realise my " wish ".

I'd like two cameras though. But personally I'd prefer the slim, compact camera. In other words, Digital Camera.

I'd bring it in my pocket before I go out to any place in case anything interesting happens. All these while, even though I was able to take average shots with my phone, the shutter speed is just way too slow to capture what happens. That moment would just fly by before you even take a shot. I have encountered that situation many times and it pissed me off like nothing else.

When it comes to an occasion where I know I'll be taking a lot of photos and it needs to be damn good. I'll resort to a Digital SLR.

There's a huge difference between a DSLR and a Digital Camera. I've seen it with my own eyes. Sadly I can't compare them here since I don't have the photos at all. What a pity that a DSLR is so huge, if not I would've taken that to go out instead. I would look like an idiot if I'd bring that chunky tool along.

My heart beats too fast when I think of it. Looks like this obstacle isn't easy to overcome after all.

Pommes Frites Bistro

It was another last minute plan, we decided to have a badminton session in Kota Permai. I didn't bring any phone there since I'm still wary of weird people trying to do weird things like steal my phone. So no pictures :S

Headed to Pyramid just to catch a movie with Ting Ting and my sister. They were there like 3 hours earlier than us because we had our transport issues. Oops :X I felt bad for Ting especially. She was there since 12.30 :(

We met up with them at Station Kopitiam - funny shop names

I really realised that she keeps an eye on my phone all the time. She avoids her face from being taken just in time.

And she reminded me of a long lost friend in Aussie. She said " Eh take candid photos of me ah "

How's it candid when you already see it coming :D This girl is funny man.

17 again was great. It's so different to see Zac Effron act in this kind of movie, and kissing an older lady..WOW, totally not expected. However, he still plays basketball in the movie. Soooo, nothing really new about it. But, the ending was good :)

Dinner was at Pommes Frites Bistro.

Usually I wouldn't step into that part of Pyramid but since it was on the newspapers and Ka Hui suggested, so why not?

Mmmm I don't remember any names of the food.

Except for my Beef Linguine :D Did I mention it had a little bit of tabasco taste in it, just splendid.

Oh not to be forgotten their Pomme Frites

If only they had more sauce in it, it would be awesome.

Off topic : Why is it called Pommes Frites when in France it's called Pomme Frites :o Note the S

My mind can't comprehend the stress and all these problems. Hope all this havoc ends soon :S On the bright side, it's making me understand more issues, in my very own special way.

Tongue Piercing

Xia and Mei Ting stayed over my place for the night, and as I was still doing my damn project, Xia sat down and we started talking.

I never expected to talk to her as in face to face, most of the time it's on msn or through texting. But yeah that was also the first time I heard her voice. Usually it would just be a nod or a shake on the head. Hah.

I sure enjoyed talking to her, though I was really sleepy during that time :X Slept during sun rise which is about 6.30 ish when everyone starts to wake up. Hantu malam I know.

Okay I seriously changed my mind and the last thing I'd want to do is tongue piercing.

Glenmarie Golf and Country Club

idk who to credit for this

Nothing beats the evening swimming when the weather is unbearable. Actually a lot of things beats that except going to Lagoon :X

My legs were worn out thanks to yesterdays basketball game with some team from China :S And it was awesome! Although they praised me but I still don't think I'm up to the standard yet.

Floating was incredibly hard without my legs. My stomach was doing the work pretty much most of the time.

Of course I wasn't alone, it'd be pretty sad to just swim alone. Though, I really wished I brought someone else along. Oh well ._.

I realised they keep on changing chefs. All their food tastes different every time I come here.

I ordered Fried Kuey Teow ( extra spicy ). It's supposed to be fried with red chili isn't it? Instead they fried it with chili padi :D Really awesome. *sarcasm* The rest of the meal tasted bitter, I think my taste buds were fried.

I was still hungry and managed to swallow half dozens of beef satay, *yumm* but I suffered from indigestion an hour later :X

I haven't been doing much this weke, just catching up on the work from school. Screw it.

Oh and whoever that is wondering about the AddMath Project. Here it is.

GUIDE TO FINISHING THE PROJECT

Hannah Montana : The Movie

It was so last minute, I decided to go out to Suwnay, again. Yeah it's the only outing I've got for this week, only day I felt like ' Hey I want to go out '

My sister and Mei Ting came along so we had our early lunch at Jusco Food Court, since we got bored of choosing from the wide variety of restaurants. And trust me I really don't want to go back there although its tasty.

I saw mini cockroaches lurking around the dishes as I reached out for a spoon. Wow, the horror lol. It was just beside my hand.

After lunch we managed to watch Hannah Montana : The Movie. Overall the movie isn't that bad. What I think Miley is trying to do is break off from the HM image, correct me if I'm mistaken. It was kind of funny too although they didn't show much of Jackson and Rico brawling. And, my back didn't hurt throughout the 1hr 45 mins show.

And usually I don't do this but I watched MvA again :S Double movie isn't my thing, this time my butt hurt :X

After lazing around for another hour or so then my mom came to get us. We went to Nirwana Maju, Taipan.

Oh, I mentioned before how much I LOVE INDIAN FOOD , especially those south indian ones ( banana leaf ) .

I'm a very big eater but I couldn't tackle any more food after eating that big of a portion. I didn't call for seconds :( Everything tasted delicious, maybe toooo delicious until I felt scared there was going to be MSG.

But then again, there wasn't any MSG. One bite at their food and your taste buds experiences the blend of flavors from a variety of spices they used. It's just amazing! I love this place so much I'd call it my second home. And I went home satisfied!

About today, my mind still can't comprehend what happened. It was something new for me, I've never felt like this before. It's just so great to feel this way and to be in this state of happiness. It's hard to explain. I barely got any sleep just thinking ' Did it really happen? '
